Long Term Goals Of PhillCo Economic Growth Council

  •  Establishing a regional trade center in the City of Malta and cultivating trade relations with our northern neighbors in Saskatchewan.
  • To expand and grow industries and businesses within the county.
  • To promote a good quality of life for Phillips County residents through assistance with public works projects and economic growth.
  • To maintain PhillCo Economic Growth Council as a long-term organization dedicated to development in Phillips County.

Prime Location – Malta, the county seat is at the crossroad of US Highways #2 and #191 providing direct highway access to the US/Canadian Border at the Port of Morgan and urban communities of Billings and Great Falls, Montana.

Wide Open Spaces – Famous for wide-open spaces and diversity in landscape, Phillips County boasts a variety of wildlife and cultural history.   Phillips County makes up over 5,100 square miles which includes approximately 1.6 million acres of public (state & federal) lands mingled with 1.6 million acres of private lands.
